i'm dr. ness

A 2x award-winning Doctor of Psycholinguistics. Having studied psychology & language for 10+ years, I am an expert in those areas, but I am especially authoritative in the spaces of self-expression and interpersonal communication.
Following my academic career, I founded an international comms agency, Woo With Words, through which I worked with some of the best authors, speakers, educators and coaches in the industry (including Natalie Ellis & Danielle Canty of BossBabe and Jamie Kern Lima of IT! Cosmetics). I also supported a number of influencers and reality TV personalities, including Khloe Kardashian.
I’ve collaborated with big brands such as Coca-Cola, Estee Lauder & ELLE, and my work has been featured in major publications, including Vogue, Marie Claire, The Daily Mail, Daily Express, Metro, Entrepreneur, Medium & Psychologies Magazine.

where + how I practice...
- I practice via Zoom, meaning you can access my services no matter where you are in the world. They’re also designed to fit YOUR life, which means you can tailor both how often you have sessions and for how long we work together.
the frequency + term...
I work with people on a weekly basis at first, switching to fortnightly sessions when the need/desire reduces.
The minimum term is 6 weeks, at which point we will review to decide on the necessity for and frequency of sessions moving forward. Reviews will be conducted every 6 weeks thereafter, until the arrangement ends.
I work with some people over shorter periods (6 weeks only) and others long-term. It all depends on the problems you’re wanting to solve (how many you have and how complex they are, for example).


the investment...
- As I do not believe in one-size-fits-all contracts (like weekly sessions for 12 weeks), I charge by the hour. A single session with me costs £100. If you wish to purchase a block booking of 6 sessions, a discount of 10% will be applied, making each session £90 (saving you £60 overall).
